CPM Network planning clarifies project task and event dependencies and performance timelines, facilitating project control, compression or expansion as necessary to meet an urgent Operational Requirement (OR), or to navigate cost, schedule, performance or technology maturity risks or constraints.
BAI personnel have developed, implemented and analyzed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) -based CPM networks for a variety of aircraft, shipboard, land-based and electronic equipment development programs and proposals. These networks utilized state-of-the-art, client-standard project management software to integrate government Program Management Master Milestones with contractor WBS work package and government IPT member task subprojects, with design effort, program reviews, test events, hardware and data deliveries gating Milestone Review events. This Master and Subproject integration enabled the Program Manager to simultaneously assess program cost, schedule and performance risk, while accumulating required exit criteria satisfaction documentation for each phase.
