Post Production Planning and Support Services
This business area concentrates on the identification and implementation of systems management and support activities necessary to ensure continued attainment of System Readiness Objectives with affordable Logistics Support (LS) after production line closeout. Post Production Support (PPS) Planning is conducted for weapon systems and equipment to ensure the continued availability of Program Management, Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, Technical Data, and Supply Support throughout the system/equipment life cycle. Results of the Post Production Support Analysis are documented in a system/equipment PPS Plan.
